Susan Maclaurin graduated with a Bachelor of Design - Majoring in Photography in 2003 from Victoria University, Wellington. She then worked as a News Photographer for the Gisborne Herald and a Freelance Photographer in New Zealand, for a period of time before pursuing her passion of travel and documentary photography.

Over the past five years Susan has been based in London but travelled far and wide including voyages to India, China, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, Turkey and throughout Europe from East to West. Susan is now back in NZ to continue with her freelance photography.
